PERSON
Hallo.
My name is Hanna Wowereit.
I have called the Rhein-Neckar-Region my home for almost 10 years, but I was born in beautiful Swabia at Lake of Constance. As a pragmatic Swabian, I know the constant challenge between "This is art!" and "That can go!".
I have a weakness for the scandinavian / nordic style but also the modern, simple design style.
START
With a sheet of paper in front of me and a pen in hand, I have always been able to immerse myself in wonderful worlds. When I got my hands on my first graphics tablet and programs, it was all over me. My decision was made:
I want to turn my passion into a job!
EXPERIENCE
So at the age of 18 I moved from my home on Lake of Constance to the wide world of the Rhein-Neckar-Region to make my dream come true. After three years, I completed my training as a media designer in the field of print and technology and was ready for professional life.
I then worked for 5 years in a company where I was solely responsible for a variety of areas. All print products, image processing, graphic designs as well as texts for brochures and instructions for use were part of it.
PROFESSION
The challenge to keep developing and improving is what drives me on. Because I was able to offer a wide range of skills not only to the company I worked for, but also to the end customer. The desire to develop professionally grew in me and so I fulfilled my dream of self-employment in October 2020.
COMPANY NAME
Aighorn.
The name Wowereit comes from the Lithuanian (voveráitis) and means squirrel.
With the squirrel as a family name, it was a matter of course for me to include it in the naming of my company.
My enthusiasm for the nordic style, in combination with the old Germanic word aighörnchen, finally led me to the name aighorn.
